What is Soft Tissue Mobilization?

Soft Tissue Mobilization is a hands-on chiropractic technique that focuses on manipulating and restoring balance to the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. Our experienced chiropractors at Healing Arts Center & Physical Therapy use a variety of manual techniques, such as massage, stretching, and myofascial release, to identify and treat areas of tension, restriction, and dysfunction. By skillfully applying pressure and movement to these soft tissues, our chiropractors can effectively:

  • Alleviate pain and discomfort
  • Improve flexibility and range of motion
  • Break down scar tissue and adhesions
  • Facilitate tissue healing and recovery

Key Benefits of Soft Tissue Mobilization at Healing Arts Center & Physical Therapy

Pain Relief: Our Soft Tissue Mobilization techniques target the root cause of your pain, releasing tension, reducing muscle tightness, and promoting relaxation in the affected areas. Many patients experience immediate relief and improved comfort following treatment.

Improved Flexibility and Range of Motion: By breaking down scar tissue, adhesions, and restrictions within the soft tissues, Soft Tissue Mobilization can significantly enhance your flexibility and range of motion. This allows for greater ease of movement, increased joint mobility, and improved overall function.

Enhanced Healing and Recovery: Soft Tissue Mobilization stimulates blood flow to the treated area, facilitating the delivery of oxygen and nutrients while removing metabolic waste products. This accelerates the healing process, reduces inflammation, and supports your body’s natural ability to repair and regenerate damaged tissues.

This office is great. Alternative medicine to the next level. I started seeing Dr. Olson about 2 yrs ago when I was searching for a good Chiropractor. She is wonderful & this was the only office that would bill insurance. Then I had a horrid kink in my neck I could not seem to get rid of so I did physical therapy in this office..and they were great. Though it improved greatly it did not go away. Dr. Olson recommend acupuncture but I avoided it. I did massage therapy and almost two years later I finally “risked” acupuncture. Of course I went to Dr Sam and in 20 minutes the pain was relieved completely for the first time in almost 2 years. Dr. Sam is super nice and understanding. This office LISTENS to you and cares. And the front desk staff/assistants are a hoot! Great team great office.
